Tamil community charity in London
Over 5,000 Tamil books available to members in London.
The London Tamil Sangam Library is the largest Tamil library in the UK, with more than 5,000 books on various subjects and 312 members currently using it.
Our shelves include everything from astronomy to zoology, with fiction and non-fiction shared equally. We also stock weekly Tamil magazines and daily Tamil newspapers from India.
We are working to add another 1,000 books, including English and academic titles for the After School Club, and we have started a new English library to support students learning English.
We collect a refundable £10 deposit, which is returned when you cancel your membership provided you have no borrowed books in your name. Please contact the office for an application form.
Your donation helps us support essential programmes for the Tamil community — every pound goes directly into our services and resources.
